About Attorney Richard J. Witry

Nearly 40 years ago, attorney Richard J. Witry decided to continue his father's legal legacy by enrolling and graduating from law school.

He graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, in 1976 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar Association and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois later that year. In 1983, he was admitted to the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois — Trial Bar and in 1985, the U.S. Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit. He was also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2003.

Mr. Witry has spent almost four decades building his practice and has extensive experience in areas of law such as probate, guardianship, wills and trusts, in addition to estate planning, elder law and banking law. He is looking forward to slowing down and creating a practice where he can spend more one-on-one time with each of his clients. He is proud of his accomplishments and is eager to offer the same high-quality services of a downtown lawyer, for a much more reasonable price.

Mr. Witry is passionate about the work he provides and even offers estate planning seminars at his local funeral home, so that he can help others understand and become more comfortable with the estate and long-term planning process.
